Parents, ask your children about their Explorer Passports
Explorer Passports will be delivered to schools on Friday, May 18. The Passports give children free admission to parks and attractions in Prince William County. Start off this Saturday at the HCHY EXPO at Pfitzner Stadium, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. View map of activities and schedule of events.

2011-2012 Special Olympics Coach of the Year Award

Coach of the Year

Congratulations to Ralph Abruzere as recipient of prestigious 2011-2012 Coach of the Year, Special Olympics Award. Ralph has been a life-long supporter and advocate for Special Olympics for over 25 years. Credited with helping to start Special Olympics Prince William County in the 1980's, Ralph has served Prince William County, Area 23 Special Olympics as volunteer supervisor, coach, and Head Delegate to Regional Tournaments and State games managing more than 200 track and field athletes from the Prince William County and Northern Virginia area. Whether he is traveling to Richmond or Virginia Beach for Summer and Fall games or coaching his atheletes, Ralph has been instrumental in promoting Special Olympics in schools and communities for more than 20 years. Ralph's enthusiasm, passion, and commitment to Special Olympics Virginia make him the best of the bests.

The Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) has provided Independent Hill School / PACE East an awesome donation in the amount $300.00. The generous donation will help support the educational needs of students. The Faternal Order of Police is the world’s largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers, with more than 325,000 members in more than 2,100 lodges.
